The Heart Is Sacred

This morning I rode my bicycle directly to the cemetery. I knew though that I wouldn’t need to water the flowers, as it has rained the last two days. So instead I trimmed up the bed and pulled some weeds. I then walked about to see what was new or overlooked. I found a dragonfly in the grass with a damaged wing, that I picked up and placed on top a gravestone. But it was dying. Nearby is the church I grew up in, so I went there and strolled about as well. I took a photo of the statue of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

The Sacred Heart of Jesus.
