Beyond The Walnut Tree

After visiting the cemetery, I rode my bicycle back to the old Leslie Loghouse, to get pictures of the Black Walnut tree, and to spend more time walking about the property. I am amazed at how overgrown the orchards have become. Just beyond the Walnut tree, I found a trail that led me down beside the river. I walked along the edge of it, and eventually found a spot that was seculded enough, and the water deep enough, to swim in. So I removed all my clothes to my underwear and spent some time there cooling off. I then laid myself out in the sun to dry, but was biten by a colony of red ants. On the way back I found bushes and bushes of wild raspberries.
